Escape with your friends & family to our serene retreat in Canyon Lake! (between Austin & San Antonio-a quick drive to New Braunfels). Minutes away from the lake or river and a few steps out the back door for relaxation in your private HOT TUB! Cap off your days of adventure or wine tasting by unwinding beside the outdoor fireplace or dining on the deck. With a fully equipped kitchen and a BONUS room, every comfort awaits in this inviting single-story home!

Good to know

Outside: You'll probably want to spend most of your time out back. Our outdoor fireplace, HOT TUB, and deck are guest favorites - ours too! There is a picnic table, outdoor chairs, and a charcoal grill available to provide a restful outdoor space for you and yours. Inside: A comfortable LIVING and DINING area provides a split between the primary bedroom and secondary bedrooms. Our dining room has seating for 6 and there's a kitchen island that also seats 2. The PRIMARY BEDROOM has a king size memory foam bed, walk-in closet, Roku TV, and an en suite bathroom. Hand soap, body wash, extra pillows, and hair dryer are provided. A Pack and Play with sheet is also available for infants. BEDROOM 2 has a comfy queen size bed, Roku TV, & extra pillows. BEDROOM 3 has a queen size memory foam bed, Roku TV, & extra pillows. Bedrooms 2 & 3 share the full SECONDARY BATHROOM which is also accessible from the living room. Hand soap, body wash, and hair dryer are provided. We also invite you to enjoy our BONUS ROOM with a futon, game table, & chairs (extra seating). Makes a great place for the kids or anyone else who needs a little extra space to play. We've provided games and puzzles for those occasional times when you need some fun indoor activities. Our KITCHEN is fully equipped with dinner service for 6, wine glasses, coffee mugs, fridge with ice maker, electric stove & oven, blender, toaster, and basic spices. We provide a starter supply of dishwasher detergent. There is also a full-size coffee maker and Keurig available (bring your favorite coffee or K-cups). Our LAUNDRY ROOM provides a full-size washer and dryer and starter supply of laundry pods. PARKING: In addition to a single car garage and extended concrete driveway, there is also gated gravel parking available for all of your lake toys or extra vehicles. We have plenty of parking for our registered guests, so please - NO street parking! Please be sure to check our house rules for additional information about the property and don't hesitate to message me with any questions you might have. Enjoy!!

House Rules

- No street parking. Parking is available in the driveway and on the gravel behind the double-gate. NO PARKING ON LAWN! - You must sign a waiver that includes everyone in your party to have access to the pool and amenities. Do not allow unregistered guests to use the pool area. Failure to comply will result in our loss of pool privileges for the entire season. - Monday is trash pick up (Blue Bin). Please place bin near street at edge of driveway on Sunday night. -No pets allowed on property. Guests will be charged $200 per night for unauthorized pets. -No extra guests are permitted. A fee of $50 per person per night will be added to the reservation for anyone on property who is not included in the original reservation. (Maximum 6 guests) -Guests must verify with the Comal County Fire Marshal to see if the Burn Ban is ON/OFF per the Comal County web page. (Information available in guest book.) - We are in drought conditions at the lake and the surrounding areas. Please check online for current ramp closures. Ramp #2 is currently closed. -Behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive to surrounding neighbors will not be tolerated and will result in forfeiture of the remainder of your stay.

You won’t run out of fun things to do around here! Our community pool is 3 doors down. Float the Guadalupe River! River access is just minutes away or float the Comal River in New Braunfels. So refreshing! Pickleball/Basketball courts (4-minute drive from our home) Spend the day shopping in Gruene (for you non-locals, it’s pronounced “green”) and then have dinner at one of the yummy restaurants. Our favorite is The Grist Mill, but so many options to choose from! While you’re there, visit Gruene Hall – Texas’ oldest continually operating dance hall. Great musicians and a fun vibe! Catch some amazing performances at Whitewater Amphitheatre (less than 15 minutes away!) More shopping! Hit the San Marcos outlets for those bargain deals! Wine tasting – Visit one of our local vineyards and enjoy some Texas wine! Plenty of puzzles & games are available in our BONUS room for those "indoor" days/nights. Go take a hike! How about a dam walk across the lake? Visit Comal Park. Or just take a drive through the scenic hill country. A great way to spend an afternoon! Bring your boat for a day on Canyon Lake (Remember to search online for “My Canyon Lake” for current ramp closures/openings). We have boat parking available on site. San Antonio! Remember the Alamo!, Fiesta Texas, Sea World, Mi Tierra … LET’S GO! New Braunfels – Schlitterbahn, Landa Park, Naegelin’s Bakery (a favorite spot of ours). So MANY yummy restaurants sprinkled over these hills! Even more shopping! How about some thrifting? Visit Kathi’s Resale or The Pink Elephant for those great bargains! Lastly, one of our favorites – Step out the backdoor on to the deck and throw something on the grill. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy the evening from the hot tub under the twinkling lights. So good!

We had a great stay here! The house was clean and cozy. The backyard was the highlight — it felt really private and peaceful, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We didn’t use the hot tub this time but would definitely next visit. The location was convenient for exploring Canyon Lake but still quiet enough to feel like a getaway. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful house. The backyard itself was worth the stay alone. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the fire pit due to the burn ban, but the hot tub and lights at night were so nice. The most special amenity is the wild deer that roam the neighborhood. We fed them every night and never got bored.

Melissa was so nice ! And she always responded super quick when we had any questions, the check in and out was super fast and it was a nice comfy and cozy place for a nice getaway !
